Growing up, my mom would always put a fresh set of tights in our Easter baskets, along with some candy–chocolate for my sisters and fruity candy for me since I never liked chocolate. All these years later and it still feels special and that's what I hope our holidays and traditions feel like to our girls. We try to keep candy to a minimum (easier said than done), and just get a few simple, adorable things to put in their baskets, along with a new Easter dress. We'll be celebrating our first Easter in this house and I can't help but think back on last year's Easter dinner in our dining room. This year we have a lovely new kitchen to host in, and we're planning on a pot luck with my sisters and some friends here. We'll miss many, but also be with so many we love and that feels so special to us.

We got taco, hat, … at Christmas based on your gift guides. We’ve had a lot of fun with it. Math phd dad who is usually so good at board games is seriously bad at this game - it’s hilarious
