It's no secret we have some food allergies in this house, which can make dessert kind of tricky. I kid you not, our dessert woes are forever over because of this one kitchen appliance. Totally not sponsored, the Ninja CREAMi whips up frozen treats by simply freezing fruit (along with whatever else you want), and letting the appliance do its' magic.
Ninja CREAMi
I'll be the first to admit that some of the "dairy-free" ice creams out there aren't exactly delicious. Somehow the CREAMi takes the most simple, frozen ingredients and whips them up into the most perfectly creamy texture. I guess that's how it gets the name.

I've been testing out a few recipes and I have to say, these are my three favorites at the moment. You really can't go wrong with it though!
P.O.G. Sorbet
This recipe is made specifically for the Ninja CREAMi ice cream & sorbet maker. Pineapple, orange, and guava are a heavenly flavor combination, and this sorbet will make you feel like you're sitting on the beaches of Maui. Not literally, but it's super good.
- 1 11 oz can mandarin oranges in light syrup
- frozen or fresh pineapple per instructions
- guava nectar per instructions
To your Ninja CREAMi container, add the mandarin oranges, syrup and all. Add pineapple to the max fill line, and then do the same with the guava nectar.
Freeze overnight and spin in the Ninja CREAMi on the "Sorbet" setting. Store in the freezer after mixing until ready to serve.
Mixed Fruit Sorbet

Pour the fruit and syrup from the can into the Ninja CREAMi container. Add the strawberry jelly, then fill to the max fill line with coconut water.
Freeze overnight and spin in the Ninja CREAMi on the "Sorbet" setting. Store in the freezer after mixing until ready to serve.
Coconut, Cherry & Chocolate Ice Cream (dairy free)
This recipe is made specifically for the Ninja CREAMi ice cream & sorbet maker. Cherries and chocolate are pals to the end, but mix in a good amount of coconut flavor and it's truly magical.
- frozen cherries per instructions
- 1 7.4 oz can sweetened condensed coconut milk
- coconut water per instruction
- 1-2 tbsp cocoa nibs
To your Ninja CREAMi container, add the sweetened condensed coconut milk, then fill with cherries to the max fill line. Add coconut water to the max fill line, add the lid and shake to mix.
Freeze overnight then spin in the Ninja CREAMi on the "Sorbet" setting. Remove the lid, add the cocoa nibs and spin again on the "Mix Ins" setting. Place back in the freezer for at least an hour before serving.
What is your go to brand of coconut water?! I can’t wait to try these!
