Back in the day, I offered design services and made mood boards for the masses and as much as I loved it (it’s one of my true passions!), each one took me about 12-15 hours and I could only take a handful of clients a month because of the time investment I wanted to put into it. With a growing family and business, I had to pick and choose where to focus my energy and made the hard decision to stop virtually going into your homes and helping you pick paint colors and furniture and layout options.
The requests have continued to pour in (thank you!) and the desire in my heart never went away. When I see someone struggling to love their home, I WANT TO HELP! One night, I was talking to Chris about my goals and dreams for our business and mentioned that I would really love to find a way to launch design services again this year.

These are all 3D renderings featuring pieces from our collection that are actually real pieces you can try on and have in your home. We work with all the quirky bump-outs, doors, drop ceilings and the bones your home has and come up with beautiful solutions. Pretty great, right? We can even play with layout options and send overhead renderings so you can see how everything will fit together.

Oh man! I was so excited when I first read the title of this because I just said to my husband that I wish you could help me decorate my house because I love your style and I am literally totally and completely stuck over here!!!!!! I cannot decide on my style, paint colors, furniture layouts, lights etc. literally stuck!!!!! I’ve never been this stuck!!!! I was super excited and willing to pay the price for your expertise too lol!!!!! HELP!!!

For me, personally, I have to say this was not a great experience. I think the fact that I signed up via the CLJ website (and was therefore after the CLJ style) might have been lost in the process. Totally not your fault but I was a little surprised to get back the designs I did, even after taking their style quiz. Very 90s, coastal, old fashioned with quite a large awkward space unaddressed. Not CLJ at all! Let’s hope the changes I requested take it within the ball park. Fingers crossed.
