This month’s drawing (let’s forget for a moment that we’re a third of the way into May) was a refreshing return to color. For the last few months, I have been indulging in classic black and white chalkboard drawings with a touch of a little color–but to pick up my bold chalk pieces was invigorating. And to use vibrant colors for such a classic item, like a variety of spectacles, is the kind of art I love doing and hanging on my own walls.
And for the record, I hope my next pair of glasses (I’m currently sporting leopard print frames for driving and watching the tube) look like the green ones up top. What about you? Do you wear frames–either prescription or for fashion’s sake?

Oh, lovely! I put off getting glasses for as long as I could, but now that I need them for driving they’re my I’m-too-busy/lazy/tired-to-get-dressed-up crutch. This SAHM feels just a little more put together with glasses on.
