Pillows are the quickest way to change the look of a sofa, but they can add up quickly. So today, I rounded up 5 different pillow combinations that add up to less than $100. And I paired them with budget-friendly sofas, too!
Dove Gray Sofa $599 | Ikat Pillow with Tassels $49 + Blue Velvet Lumbar $17 + Modern Brushstrokes $18 + Mongolian fur pillow $16 = $100
Linen Chesterfield $829 | Eye Pillow $39 + Pink Leather Triangle $30 + Stripe Pillow $29 = $98
Leather Sofa $629 | Fringe Accent Pillow $39 + Turkish Pillow $13 + Diamond Chenille Pillow $39 = $91
Down-Filled Sofa (50% off!) $799 | Indigo Pillow Cover $16 (x2) + Winter Fox Pillow $49 = $81
Delancy Sofa $849 | Thumbprint Gold $13 + Poms Pillow $35 + Turkish Pillow $15 + Scallop Pillow $20 = $83
It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I love the tailored look of #4 and the whimsey of #2. How about you?!
Hi, could you do another update to this post? Possibly even including more than one sofa? Thank you! :)
Love these ideas, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, I have a soft spot (pun intended) for silk pillows so finding a bargain can be some work.
I am so sad that some of the pillows I have clicked on are already sold, but I love this post and it's so helpful! Thank you so much for your posts, I learn so much. Any suggestions on a pillow to replace the West Elm Modern Brushstroke pillow since it is sold out? I think I am going to get all four of those pillows because you are a decorating genius and I have been stuck for awhile now with our current set up. Thanks again!
Love the Turkish pillow. Have you done business with them before?
I have not. But I have with similar stores on Etsy and I've been pleased.
I love this. I've been meaning to buy pillows for our bed, but, I honestly have no idea what to do. See I'm stuck with an all white bed with white pillows. It's a blank canvas really but can't ever decide. This post gave me a few ideas :)

Great roundup! Checked out the Modern Brushstrokes and it's already out of stock, such a bummer. I'm astonished I missed an $18 pillow at West Elm.
It's teetering between in stock and out. Another commenter on Instagram had the same scenario and then she was able to scoop it up a few minutes ago!
Love, love, love this concept! Great combos!
I love all the pillow combinations...........except the eye pillow! Kinda freaks me out, lol! Are eyes the new thing? I see A Beautiful Mess did eyes in a bathroom wall treatment................
Haha, I think they are quirky and fun! Not for everyone though.
I like the eye pillow but the link goes to the sofa on overstock :(
I had been wanting to purchase the People I've Loved version but it was a little too large for where I wanted to use it so I wanted to check this one out. Do you happen to have the correct link? Thanks in advance.
Oops! I'll update that in the post. It's from right here.
I love, love all the choices and even though I want to stay in summer mode, your post has me thinking about fall and fall pillows. I have a large sectional though and find it tricky to pick the right pillows. Any tips?
A lot of the combinations I posted above (besides #4) doesn't have any repeat pillows. For sectionals or longer sofas, I think it's nice to have some pillows repeated on either side.
I love the indigo!
As of this morning I have a problem I'd love your advice on. I wanted picture lights at the top of the bookcases on either side of my fireplace. Instead of having the wiring in the moulding for them, the electrician put them in the ceiling right in front of each one. What are my options for a ceiling mount sconce or picture light on an arm for either side (NOT a track light system) with a classic modern vibe?
I'm having trouble picturing this, Brianne. Did he install can lights?
No, he actually did openings for fixtures. He just did them in front of the bookcases in the ceiling instead of where the moulding will be at the top of the bookcases once the cabinetmaker installs them. I had visualized a sconce or picture light on either side coming out from the moulding and pointing down towards the bookcase. Now I don't know what kind of ceiling fixtures I can use that would have an arm I could point at the bookcases. Please help!!
