All the Heart Eyes for These Wayfair Finds

September 1, 2024

This post is sponsored by Wayfair

I'm in my fall feelings right now: Give me all the dark mahogany wood tones, the colored marble, the antiqued lighting...but with a modern vibe. I spotted a vanity at Wayfair a few days ago that I sent to all of my work girlies because it was THAT. GOOD. The next thing you know, I had rounded up 16 things that are just sneaky-good finds on Wayfair. Get your hands on these before they backorder for the season!

My Top Wayfair Picks
  1. This handsome vanity has all the Old World charm. It makes me want to spend Labor Day weekend renovating a cottage-y bathroom. $769
  2. A proper pendant gives any room a facelift. I can think of at least four spaces in my home right now where I would hang this. $639
  3. It's jacket season! I'm fantasizing about propping this coat rack behind the front door and taking everyone's coats as they come in from a brisk fall day. (Also, there's mulled cider on the stove, obv.) $319
  4. I've had a version of this chair in my living room for years. It's my favorite because it's so cozy — but also has so much structure. And it swivels, which makes it great for side conversations :) $589
  5. A stately, studious lamp adds a little "whodunit" to any desktop. $122
  6. Colored marble has made such a comeback. Imagine this statement piece in the entryway with a big vase of fall stems... mmm! $549
  7. I'm planning to prop these electric candlesticks in every window during the holiday season... $73 for four
  8. A standing mirror feels like the heirloom level of full-length mirrors. (We need this guy in our guest room, stat.) $139
  9. I never met a step stool I didn't love. I bought this brass one for our kitchen, and it's just as pretty as it is useful. Form meets function, folks. $316
  10. This. Striped. Ottoman. The canopy stripe is the pop of red that every room needs — it's just fire. And those ruffles? Swoon. $379
  11. This darling lamp went viral earlier this year (and was sold out for a while) because it's about $300 less than its lookalike. $53
  12. A double candle wall sconce says "historical footprint" to me. This one will patina nicely, too — just getting better with time. $711
  13. We have this table's twin in our study. It makes a statement as a desk, but we've transformed it into a dining table two Thanksgivings in a row. $450
  14. This traditional accent chest would look great as a nightstand in a primary bedroom. It's giving "boutique hotel." $779
  15. This is the nightstand we have in Polly's room! Those turned wood legs have my heart. $148
  16. A scalloped headboard adds romance and charm. (This one is $1,000 less than its pricey lookalike.) $471

The Ultimate Test: The Best Waterproof Mats

This post is not sponsored and all opinions are my own. If there are rainy seasons in North Carolina, it's usually the summer and winter. Summer is drenching thunderstorms and winter is just a steady drizzle on and off every other week. A coir, fabric or jute doormat is great if you want to show […]

Can You Paint an Electrical Meter Box? (Answer: Yes!)

We're finalizing the exterior hardscaping around the mudroom and one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb was the meter box. It's that pale grey color and against the red brick, it was just too loud. So I decided to spray-paint it, and the payoff was immediate! There's really only one portion that you […]

10-Minute Tomato Salad with Red Pepper Dressing

Bowls (similar) | Platter | Copper Candlestick (similar) | Taper Candles | Wooden Serving Utensils | Plaid Tablecloth (similar) Late summer hits, and it's like the world collectively moves on to fall. But there is still an abundance of tomatoes and bright greens at the market. And it's actually the perfect time of year to […]

Fall Boots (And My Hot Take on Skinny Jeans)

There are two types of boots I'm seeing everywhere this season that create two very different silhouettes for your favorite outfits. One is a very slender boot, often with a pointed toe. Because jeans are getting wider (hello to my new favorite pair), it's great to have a slim boot that you can zip up […]
