We didn't get that house that we both loved so much. It was a pretty depressing day when we got that call. Part of me still thinks that maybe in two weeks, they'll change their mind and say we can have it. But while we subconsciously wait for that to happen, the Great House Hunt 2010 (that's what we're calling it) must go on. We have now looked at over 40 houses. When my sister and her husband bought their first house, they looked at one place and bought it. I do love their house...but in my mind, I am always wondering what else is out there? What if next week something more appealing comes on the market? I am quickly getting over that. On the contrary, maybe 40+ houses isn't "quickly." Yesterday morning, we met our realtor, Chad, at a home in Provo at 9 am. 8 houses and 3 hours later I was sold on one and Chris was sold on one...different ones. I think we both like both, but we both LOVE different ones. So we made a pro/con list:

It doesn’t really matter who likes which one more. We are going to go look at both again tomorrow and hopefully we’ll be directed to the one that is right for us. We are excited and hopeful and exhausted, but mostly excited. :)
Good luck with the Great House Hunt 2010! Exciting times!
Also, my verification word was OBLESM.
Ok. Here's my two cents:
I grew up in Salem, which happens to be between both houses. I like the look of the Mapleton home better. PLUS, you are close to the mountains. (can we say, "I love you, Hobble Creek"?)
I always felt that Payson was less classy. However, a temple will be built right there in the valley and will be beautiful. AND, if you guys live there, you will def. add that touch of class that Payson has been wanting for quite some time.
I hope you guys can agree on one. No matter where you live, it's home! It's your FIRST home!
Good night and good luck.
I Like the first one. It's all exciting! Just pick one that you can see growth and make it personal to your family! You both have great styles...I can;t wait to see what happens!!
