Chris is a t-shirt guy through and through, but more than that, Chris is a guy who prioritizes quality and comfort when it comes to everything in his wardrobe. So since I shared my favorite women's t-shirts, it only made sense to pass the baton to the collector himself and spotlight some of the best men's t-shirts that Chris has hunted down and tested over the years. Ladies, if you do the shopping for the men in your life, you're going to want to save this post. Even better, teach a man to fish (aka shop for themself) and send this post their way.

Vuori is hands-down the softest material, has the greatest fit through the sleeves and body, is breathable, and has a great color selection. This is the one I’ve filled most of my t-shirt drawer with over time. This one is a slight variation in style and fit and is a great option for staying comfortable without wearing the exact same shirt every day. The Henley tee is a great staple that is easy to dress up or down. If you're going for the best quality, Vuori is your guy.
Bylt Basics makes a fantastic t-shirt. Really high-quality fabric and construction, lots of color options, and really quite affordable. They have a more athletic fit, but I’ve been able to get by wearing my regular size without feeling self-conscious. The fabric is a little heavier, so on really hot days, I tend to reach for Vuori, but in moderate weather, I’m all over this one. I love the Drop-Cut style as well.
This has been a reliable, budget shirt for me over the years!–Good fit, comfortable, versatile colors. My only feedback is that over time, the fit changes and shortens a bit. I’d say keep it for maybe a year, and then they make great project shirts.
Cuts makes a really high-quality shirt. Unfortunately for me, my gut weeds me out of their target audience, even when I size up, as they are a more athletic tailored fit. Their Classic-Fit is a little more mid-section friendly but has fewer color options. The Signature-Fit you’ll definitely want to size up on unless you have a washboard stomach which, if that’s the case, I love that for you.
Wohven is the t-shirt brand I’ve worn most in my life. For years they were the only t-shirts I even owned. They’re good quality that holds up well, with really quality, unique, and outdoor-inspired designs (with no words). It’s a subscription service, so you sign up and get a surprise design and color every month. They also offer past-design sales where you can buy a specific design that is available. The prices are great, the designs are great, the colors are great, the fit is great, quality is great. I love recommending this brand to people.

Love you guys! You are such an inspiration in so many different ways. Thanks for sharing the t-shirt subscription. Do you know of any more clothes subscriptions for men with casual office wear?
Chris needs to do the same thing with men’s shorts please. Preferably before Father’s Day.
I bought True Classic tshirts for my husband after being really impressed with their concept. I found them to be fairly thin fabric though. Surprisingly, the Goodfellas tees from Target and Uniqlo Airism tshirts are his favorite budget options so far. Bylt sounds like a great option to try too!
