Both feel casual, but put together. The touches of leather, warm gold finishes, greenery, with a soft textile thrown in combine to produce an edgy-hardly trying-cool factor. And for the record, I'll take it all.
Ps. We'll have more house updates for you later this week. Just dotting the i's and crossing our t's. You know.
nice furniture piece in the picture. looks vintage!
Eh, I don't know. I mean, I am not denying it is a sort of filler because it's not covering a project we are doing in our new house. That being said, this kind of stuff actually interests me--so I will probably pop one in every now and then because it's cool.
I'm sorry, but when I saw this I thought you must be joking. Are your readers really clamping for this "feature"? It just seems like a filler post to me, which brings down the quality of the blog. I think there are better things to fill the gaps between now and when you can get new house posts up.
Very cool! I too love this style, and I can't wait to see what you do with your new home.
I love this. The outfit and the office. Why must so much effort go into making something (an outfit or an office) look so effortless? Clearly, I overthink everything.
When I did a home magazine, we had a reoccuring feature on furniture that drew inspiration from the runway. It's really interesting to me.
And I definitely think that style translates in this way.
