Every year, I love putting together a sweet basket of goodies for my girls to celebrate Easter. This year, it kind of snuck up on me as Easter is the Sunday after spring break, and we planned a trip over that week. Hopefully I can have their baskets ready, so we can walk into the house on Easter and delight them with treats!
We like to do a mix of candy and gifts in our Easter baskets. Something a little practical even. Growing up, we got an umbrella, tights and candy. It doesn't have to be big things for it to feel meaningful!
My girls are like me in that they don't like chocolate as much as other candy. They want Starburst jellybeans. Sour Patch Kids (Bunnies). Anything fruity and sour. So I'm on the hunt for a bunny that's not chocolate. (Although, maybe I'll get one for Polly since she's the only one who actually would enjoy that. She's also a fan of Junior Mints.)
We all know getting a cute basket is half the fun! There are just so many sweet options out there. To top it all off, here is my collection of goodies I'm eyeing for the girls' Easter baskets this year.
We bought the girls these watches last summer, and they love them. I bought the "light blue" (more like a mint green) and "jelly blue" for Polly and Faye. There are 22 colors available, so finding your kid's favorite color is a cinch.
Who doesn't love playing frisbee on the beach? We are planning on taking this one on our spring break trip!
The sweetest hat for your mini me and just in time for enjoying warmer weather outside.
I got one of these for each of the girls and am so excited for them to be able to wear them with their Easter dresses. These custom bracelets take 2 weeks to ship so don't sleep on this one!
These baskets were smaller than I expected, but they're so cute and perfect for filling with Easter goodies.
My girls have been living in these pj's. They are so soft and lightweight — essential for spring and summer. I got this orange print for Faye and the strawberries for Polly.
Stanley is our go-to water bottle for the whole family. The 20oz size is great for little kids, and I'm loving this color ("Mist") for spring. They fit nicely in cup holders, too!
I love seeing a nostalgic toy come back. This set of spirographs will keep your littles entertained for hours with all of the patterns they create.
My girls love a good craft kit, and it doesn't get cuter than these. I bought the bunny version too!
April showers are coming so this is a great practical gift to add to your basket. I gave the girls umbrellas last year — they were a big hit.
Get some extra shut-eye but do it in the cutest way. I bought this to add to the girls' baskets, and I know they're going to love it.
Every basket needs a chocolate bunny, right? Lindt chocolate is gold, and this one is extra sweet with the red ribbon.
The girls have become Swifties this year, and I know they're going to love reading all about her in this made-for-kids biography.
This jump rope is classic and such a fun toy to use outside on a sunny day. Plus, it's adjustable for your kid's height!
Scented colored pencils make drawing time even more fun. These have some unexpected scents like jelly donut and blue slushie that my girls will love.
Even kids need a good pair of classic sunglasses for spring, and this tortoise pattern adds that extra-cool quotient.
I always include a doodle pad with any goodie bag because my girls go through them so fast!
Great post, thank you! Wish that Stanley had a handle so my granddaughter could be just like mommy!
Cute, but very expensive crochet kit.
