Gift Ideas For Families — Crowd-Pleasing Gifts For The Whole Group

November 3, 2023

Every year for Christmas, all my siblings' names get entered into drawnames.com, and then we pull a name at random to surprise them with a gift to their family from ours. And let me tell you, these are some of my favorite gifts to give. Finding something to please everyone in the fam can be a challenge, but it's a challenge I've happily taken on, so you don't have to. Introducing gift ideas for families! There's something here for families of all sizes, including your own!

Gift Ideas For Families

Table Topics | $25

These conversation starter cards are perfect to gift to families of all ages. They could also make a *great* hostess gift as well because — let's be honest — sometimes there's an awkward silence that needs filling. Whip out these cards and spark a conversation around things like "Is it more important to be book smart or street smart?" and "If you could have front row tickets to any concert, what would it be?"

Pine Wood Charcuterie Board | $175

For families that love movie nights and snacks, gift them this substantial charcuterie board. We have this exact one and use it about once a week!

Extra Large Tote Bag | $65

I scored this on Prime Day and couldn't be more pleased with its ability to fit absolutely everything you could need and withstand the weight. This is a must! I originally got it for the beach, but I use it ALL the time for toting around blankets, gift wrap, packages to and from work. It's the best HUGE bag.

Nebula Mini Projector | $289

No more troubleshooting with clunky projectors from the past. Enter in this portable mini projector with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth that projects a crystal-clear picture, has a 360° speaker, and is no bigger than a soda can.

Custom House Letterpress | $128

Simply upload a picture of a special family home, and you'll get a letterpress version of it, ready for gifting!

Ninja CREAMi | $169

We could never run out of good things to say about the Ninja CREAMi. It takes the most simple, frozen ingredients and whips them up into the most perfectly creamy ice cream. I guess that’s how it gets the name.

The Chameleon Game | $18

Our family cannot get enough of this game! The chameleon has to do their best to blend in while everybody gives clues to the prompt in hopes of not getting caught!—So, so fun and great with a crowd.

Model Set with Remote | $369

One of the girls' favorite Christmas traditions is setting up the train around the tree and watching it go round and round. If you want to gift something that sparks magic year after year, give them this.

12-Pack Gourmet Popcorn Kit | $42

Who doesn't love the smell of freshly popped popcorn coming from the kitchen? Make the experience extra special with this microwaveable gourmet popcorn kit with four different tasty flavors to try.

Home Alone LEGO House | $299

Last year, Chris and the girls spent days putting together this Home Alone LEGO house and had the best time doing it.

Personalized Hobby Mugs | $98

Gift these cute personalized hobby mugs to each member of the family! You can get a set of four for $98, which is pretty dang good for a one-of-a-kind gift they'll treasure forever.

Nintendo Switch | $349

Our girls can't get enough Nintendo Switch time. I personally am a big fan of these classy white consoles, and I can promise these will light up the kids' faces on Christmas day.

Bocce Ball Game Set | $199

The great thing about bocce ball is you can play it anywhere with a lawn or sand. This set is perfect for packing away to the park or beach, and the case can be custom embroidered.

Plaid Toboggan Snow Sled $59

We have a few pool floaties and sleds from this brand, and we’re so impressed with the quality and fun designs. Maybe we should send these to our family in Idaho because we don’t get enough snow here in North Carolina!

Puzzle Board and Cover Mat | $89

A few weeks ago, we were doing a puzzle on the dining room table, and we didn't get a chance to finish before we had to clean it up for dinner. The next day, I ordered this puzzle board so the puzzle fun doesn't have to end. Puzzle-makers will love this gift!

Table Ping Pong Set | $199

This portable ping pong set can be set up on any table, so you can bring it with you to game night, but I would personally leave it set up at all times because it's the most gorgeous ping pong setup I've ever seen.

My Storage Hack for Organizing Christmas Decorations

Every year when I pack up the decorations after Christmas, I collect all of the garlands together in one box, I get all the candlesticks together in another box, and all my nativity sets go into their own box. We label the boxes "garlands," "candles," "nativity sets,"...which seems great until you remember that you have […]

Cranberry-Glazed Ham

What do you make for Christmas dinner? Sometimes we'll do a prime rib or a roast turkey, but this year, I'm going all out with a Christmas ham that just looks festive. For this recipe, I made a cranberry-orange glaze with some warm winter spices that takes this ham to the next level. Oh and […]

There's nothing worse when I'm out on a fun holiday outing taking video memories of my family, and I see that red light. Or I'm traveling and stuck in the airport on a layover...it gives me anxiety! I've tried […]
