Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2010
The first year we were together, I was a cop and Chris was a robber (original, I know).  Last year we were packing up and moving and Halloween came and went without a second thought, so I insisted we dress up as as something.  I have always loved Halloween.  We aren't "Gleeks" really--but we do appreciate us some powerful singing on Tuesday nights (or later online.)  So why not dress as Finn and Rachel from the hit show? We straightened Chris's hair a bit and I used some white puffy paint on a DI find red jersey for the 5s and nike symbol.  We also found that plaid skirt that I am sporting at DI. I cut it shorter and used the excess fabric to add a big bow to the front.  Totally Rachel.  Too bad I can't sing.

And for the star of the night.  Our little mermaid.  Let's just all "OOOooo" and "Aaahhh"  for a moment.  She actually was able to crawl all over the gym at the ward Halloween Party  Fall Festival even with a constricting fin.  She is so cute.
We are so excited for next year when we can take her trick-or-treating. Speaking of trick-or-treating, there were kids out in the neighborhood on Thursday!?! We were so confused.  Luckily, our front door is around the back of a house so we didn't get any kids.  Otherwise, they may have got their choice of an apple or a handful of nuts and candy corn.  Happy Halloween!

  1. SHE IS SOOOOO CUTE!

And you are miss crafty aren't you??? Where do you find the time??/ I am SO impressed. We were SO boring this year. Ryan wasn't feeling well that whole weekend and I was so stinking exhausted I gave up. We were going to be Blades of Grass, since Brin was a ladybug? It worked in my mind but seemed like A LOT of work. Next year though, I'm already planning :-)
