That's just primer, fyi. I'm sure I'll have a whole list of tips and dos and don't-worry-abouts when I'm done, but right now--I gotta say the sounds of Jim Gaffigan and a few other comedians via Netflix Instant Play are getting me through this. I have been laughing non-stop---until I do stop, and realize I have been painting for hours and I have a crick in my neck. So there's tip #1. Listen to Comedians while painting.
darn. I could have used that tip 2 weeks ago when we painted the living room ha.
Oh my goodness, this is our summer project that we've been planning to start once vacations were over. Now I get to learn from you first, thanks!! Can't wait to see the after pics!
You are a brave woman! And I hope to follow in your footsteps this summer. I will be watching for the after pics! LOL
I'm excited for you! It looks like there is such a huge impact already!
It's going to look amazing! We did this in a kitchen of ours once and it was TOTALLY worth it. Seriously. You can do it!
Thanks. I'll give ol' Demetri a go tonight in my 3rd paint session.
The entire kitchen is getting a new layout, hopefully in the next year or so, but this is just to tide us over a brighten things up until we get there. As for the window--definitely a roman shade is a bright color, I'm thinkin' Amy Butler fabric. :) Thanks for your support Meags.
Try Demetri Martin. I think he's hilarious. And the kitchen! What a job to undertake on your own. Go Jules.
Oh my gosh, look how bright your kitchen already looks!!!!!!!! I support you 100% with this project. I can't wait to see your kitchen just pop. I'm sure you've already been dreaming about accent colors....can you share with me??? Have you started brainstorming about your kitchen curtain? Maybe a cool roman shade in a bright color....I dunno....listen to me! Like I have anything to stand upon! Look at our house!!!!!! BAH!
The kitchen looks so much bigger already! Can't wait to see how they turn out and please share how you did it (like a step-by-step)!!
