In honor of the Early Access Prime Days both yesterday and today, I wanted to showcase some of the product tests we've conducted because a lot of them are from Amazon and on sale! A lot of these tests have been recommended by you, for you, because you take these as seriously us.
Let's go!
The Foamily ($14 was $18) is a Prime Day Deal!
If your throw pillows are looking a bit flat and sad, it’s likely your pillow insert needs swapping! Swapping out the insert can drastically improve the look of your throw pillow–but not every insert is created equal. I’ve bought many a pillow insert, and have discovered that it can honestly make or break everything. So how can you tell which pillow insert is the best?? Well, I bought the top 5 pillow inserts from Amazon and put them to the test so you don’t have to! The biggest things I want out of a pillow are density, weight, comfort, perky corners, and of course a good chop! See the full test.
Sidenote: Always size up your pillow insert. If your cover is 20×20-in, get a 22×22-in insert for a fuller, more dense-looking pillow.
The Purple Pillow ($107 was 134), the Coop pillow ($57 was $72) and Bedsure ($35 was $44) are all on sale.
Here’s the thing, everybody has different pillow preferences when it comes to sleep so it’s hard to rank. BUT, we couldn’t let you down so we ordered 8 highly-rated bed pillows, and Chris and I put them to the test. See the results.
#3 ($87 was $110) and #6 ($32 was $42) are on sale!
It can be so disappointing to spend so much money on a duvet insert, only to have it literally fall flat. Literally. I personally think the fuller and fluffier, the better, but I also like a little bit of weight to mine. So I bought 7 highly-rated inserts on Amazon and put them to the test. Obviously, there are lots of other duvet inserts out there to try, so we’re not saying this is an all-inclusive or exhaustive test! But if tens of thousands of people have given these a high rating, I just had to know why and which one takes the proverbial cake! See the results.
The Tineco ($290 was $400) and Shark Freestyle ($137 was $159) are on sale!
These days there are so many options for cordless stick vacuums, and it seems like they all have their own bells and whistles. While I have been using the Dyson cordless vacuum for quite some time, I wanted to test how it compared to some of these newer flashy models. My curiosity got the best of me, and while I’ve been on a roll testing other home items (bed pillows, duvet inserts, and pillow inserts), I had to put stick vacuums to the test! See the results.
The rug grippers ($10 was $15) are on sale, along with the rubber Gorilla grip ($12 was $28) and the Rug Pad USA felt + rubber ($19 was $27)!
Since rug pads can make such a difference and no two are the same, we decided to test the top-rated rug pads and share our findings with you all. See the results.
This Vitamix ($289 was $437), the Ninja ($159 was $199) and Blendtec ($399 was $449) are on sale!
In our house, the blender is our most used kitchen appliance! We are daily smoothie drinkers and so we want a blender that’s going to get the job done and hold up to the test of time. We have zero complaints with our Vitamix but we had to put it to the ultimate test along with 6 other blenders to see if it’s really all it’s cracked up to be. See the results!
What should we test next??
