Golden Milk Ice Cream (Dairy-Free)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream (not cream of coconut)
  • 1 cup sliced frozen bananas or mango
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground clove
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch fennel pollen (optional)
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 2/3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • unsweetened vanilla flax or almond milk (to the fill line on the CREAMi container)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in Ninja CREAMi container, except only use 1 Tbsp of honey and save the other 2/3 for later. Add the lid and freeze at least 10 hours.
  • First Spin: Place the container in the Ninja CREAMi and process using the "Ice Cream" setting.
  • Scrape & Respin: Remove the lid, scrape down the sides of the container to ensure everything is incorporated, and run a "Respin" cycle.
  • Mix-in & Final Spin: Remove the lid once more, add the remaining honey, and run one final "Respin" cycle. Enjoy your freshly made ice cream!
