Julia's Cookie Dough Ice Cream in the Ninja CREAMi

It's the end of the day, the kids are finally asleep, and I'm craving something a little...indulgent. But you know me, I'm all about balance! We've been having a blast playing with the Ninja SLUSHi for parties, so you may have heard about that lately, but when it comes to my individual desserts, my heart belongs to my Ninja CREAMi. It's my secret weapon for guilt-free, delicious treats.

Honestly, it's so magical. You throw your favorite liquid or fruit base into the canister, pop it in the freezer overnight, and wait...The next day, you're spinning up the creamiest, dreamiest frozen dessert you can imagine. I've tried a lot over the years, but my current obsession? This plant-based, dairy-free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. I'm making this practically every other night. It's that good.

It’s hard to question why I make this multiple times a week—it's not just the easiest thing to make, and packed with protein. This recipe makes around 1-2 servings, and yet this recipe has 40 grams of protein, 7.5 grams of fat, 330 calories, and just 16.25 carbs for the whole thing!! And it literally tastes like cookie dough to me!!

Ingredients

• 1 bottle OWYN Sea Salted Caramel protein shake (11.15 fluid oz)

• 2 Tbsp pure peanut butter powder (I use Crazy Richard's brand)

• 1/4 cup Good Karma unsweetened vanilla flaxmilk with protein

• 1 Tbsp Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips (approx 15 grams)

Directions

• Add the protein shake to the CREAMi canister and freeze overnight.
• Remove the lid and add the peanut butter powder and flaxmilk to the canister. Add to the Ninja CREAMi machine and press combine. Blend it one more time for a more velvety texture.
• Add the mini chocolate chips to the mixture and process one more time on the "Mix-In" setting. Enjoy!
