Saying Goodbye to Robert Frost

February 8, 2012
My large, 3'x8' painting of my favorite poem of all time, Robert Frost's The Road not Taken, is being sold.  With our complete family room renovation, we are clearing the whole room out and starting new.  We haven't decided on a price or even how we are going to sell it--let alone ship it yet, but if you are interested in purchasing it--feel free to drop me a line.  Otherwise, stay tuned while we work out the details.

Also, I kinda want to have my picture taken with all of my art now.

Update: The painting has sold.  Thank you all for your interest.  There will be more original artwork for sale in the future. Feel free to checkout our Etsy shop for art you can get your hands on right now.

  1. Oh my gosh I want it so bad.. to the point where I am copying you and making my own for our bedroom with our wedding song lyrics! I am too far to ship it but if I was in the burg I would be all over that..

And I like you photographed with your art!

  2. Girlfriend. That picture is so special. You need to start doing that and create an album or something. It is so special seeing all your work and YOUwith it showing it off.

I LOVE that painting. Love it. And I'm about to cry thinking that you're selling it! But I know you, and you get tired of things and love to change it up. PLUS, you could recreate that baby in one second if you miss it once it is gone :-) I dunno about a painting of thaaaaaat size in my future house, but that would look soak asking like 16x like30 size or something. Is it possible to write that small?? Lol. Or even a print of that.

  3. Ok, this auto correct is screwing with my comments! I have no idea what I was trying to say when the auto correct put "look soak asking like" so just ignore that. Hahahah!!

  4. Oh my gosh. I can't believe you're getting rid of this. It's stunning! But you have talent so I'm sure you're going to create something equally amazing in it's place! Can't wait to see what you do in the basement.

  5. Maybe you guys could put it in your bedroom? Is there a wall that it would look good on? Or in the living room on the purple wall? Just a thought! :)

Canadian Cowboy: Not Your Average Western Look

I loved seeing fresh takes on Western wear. It goes to show there's room for fashion in every aesthetic. Recently I saw this funny interview with Brett Goldstein of Ted Lasso fame. He said he recently went to Texas for the first time (he's English if you're unaware), put on a cowboy hat and immediately […]

My Tell-All Review of Composite Cutting Boards

This post is not sponsored and all opinions are my own. Nothing matches a beautiful wooden cutting board (our Boos board lives on my counter—it's a piece of art and sturdy as an ox). The drawback with wooden cutting boards is they can't be cleaned in the dishwasher. For anyone cutting meat, seafood, or anything […]

How to Perfectly Cook a Steak in Any Kitchen

The best way to make a steak is indoors. That's not a concession! It's done in all of the best steakhouses. They don't tend to use a grill, even though that is where most of us start when it comes to cooking a steak. This time of year? I'd rather be indoors than freezing outside, […]
