The second fall hits, I mix up a bowl of this candy corn snack mix. And the next day I whip up another bowl, because the first is gone by then.
Here's the deal, I'm not a fan of candy corn. Never have been. So I know how silly it sounds for me to claim that adding a few nuts to it makes a difference. But it does. Oh my heavens it does. 4 ingredients, less than five minutes, seriously make this stuff and give it a try. You'll devour it so fast.
Candy corn is gross. This candy corn snack mix is amazing. As magical as the holiday season itself.
Prep Time3 minutesmins
Course: Snack
Servings: 12
Ingredients
2bagscandy corndon't get the big pumpkins, just the standard corn. pumpkins are too much.
1cuphoney roasted peanutsPlanter's brand is by far the best
1cuphoney roasted almonds
1cuphoney roasted cashews
Instructions
Mix it in a bowl and eat it like it's popcorn. You know, timid and controlled to start, but ravenous and insatiable by the end. And though it's not technically "required" for the nuts to be honey roasted, the mix does end up being about a billion times better if they are.
This was phenomenal!!!!! I made it for my thanksgiving guests and it was gone in an hour. The sweet chewy marshmallow flavor of the candy corn, paired with the crunchy honey roasted nuts was delicious. I added one extra ingredient to mine and that was Reese’s pieces. I will make this often, thanks for the lovely recipe.
Chris is my kitchen guru, so it pains me to say it, but no one in our extended family of 25 liked this. It was the saddest waste of money and really good nuts.
Thank you for the effort, and keep the recipes coming, but I felt it fair to share an honest alternative opinion to the other comments.
Yes! My mom is a retired teacher and growing up, every Halloween she would make something very similar to take to school for her students. Of course, we always snagged some before it left the house. She also adds Reese's Pieces, which is really tasty, too!

Well fam, we made it. We're finally here! The mudroom is officially done. I looked back at the very first post about transforming this space, and it was one year ago, almost to the day. On the one hand, I feel a little deflated that it took us a year. And on the other hand, […]
I love ordering crab cakes out—they're such a treat. But if I want to make crab cakes at home, they need to cater to our food restrictions. That means they have to be delicious AND have no eggs, dairy, wheat, gluten or grains. Well these knock it out of the park, thanks to some secret […]
August is my unofficial start of autumn — I don't believe in separating seasons, or holidays, for that matter. I prefer to squeeze every ounce of joy I feel from the day, whether that is a sunny beach day (which is how we started the month!) or a cool early fall walk with Cricket and […]
I love fall faux stems. It's funny how it feels a lot more acceptable for stems to be faux in the fall! I guess in the summer you can grow your flowers and cut things from the yard or buy some at the market. In the fall — at least in North Carolina — we’re […]

My parents' favorite bridge mix: equal parts red-skinned spanish peanuts (the little round ones) and candy corn. Easy and irresistible!

I don't know whether to love you or hate you.
But of course love wins.
Thank you for this one.
