Surprise! Etsy is an incredible source for...lighting? It's true. When I posted on Friday about a source on Etsy a friend and I came across for her bathroom lighting, so many of you asked for more. And hey, we aim to please around here. Not only are these lights, generally, hand-made from real people or small teams of people, they are often a lot less expensive than what you might think, or be accustom to paying from big name brands. Although there are many more, here are 18 incredible light sources on Etsy that caught my eye, and a sample from each:

Do you have experience with Flowy out of the Netherlands? I just got an ad from them on FB, and their stuff is nice and reasonably priced with the sale going on, but I have no idea if the company has a good reputation.

Okay you always mention it on your Instagram but I’m not seeing it here anywhere! What is the lighting you love to use, the wattage or kelvin whatever it is! Obviously needing your help! ;)
That would be this post.
There a lots of lamps made from repurposing antiques items that are super unique on Etsy too. The lamps in this shop are made from vintage iron jacks:

Etsy is the best for everything! I bought a beautiful ceiling fixture from Sheridan of StarlightModernLighting in Indio, California. I highly recommend.
I got my office light from Illuminate Vintage about 2 years ago - I LOVE it!
I love these! Living in a rental, I would love some recs for table lamps and floor lamps too!
Can someone answer this question for me - Does the fixture need to be dimmable or just the bulbs/switch it's connected to - or all three?
I'm on the hunt for a modern matte black simple pendant that can be installed on a sloped ceiling, adjustable length, hardwired, is dimmable, and can hold a large basket shade - bonus points if it's more than one bulb.
The bulb and switch need to be dimmable, not the light--unless its one of those 3 switch lamps that go dim, medium, bright. Then that's a lamp and bulb capability. :)
I haven't thought of Etsy for this--great idea! Question: I will be trying to put lighting, either desk or floor lamp, in my living room, where my couch and accent chair setup is in the middle of the room (i.e. away from any walls). Have you used battery-operated lamps that you've liked? Or have any particular places you'd recommend for these?
I haven't ever used battery operated lights, but we have cut a slit in our rug to run a cord! See that here.
Never thought to search Etsy for lighting! They are all stunning. Could you guys do a post in the future with a little more budget friendly lighting sources? First time home buyer here so we're always on the hunt for budget friendly options :)
You should check out Lucent Lampworks on Etsy! They have super customizable school house-style lighting. Brad, the owner, is super responsive and nice. I’ve bought two pendant-style lights from him for my 1940s house and get compliments all the time. Also, made in the U.S.
I've bought several fixtures from Brad as well - love them!
These are all really cute, but do you have a bulb recommendation? I got a chandelier similar to #2 and it came with bulbs that are lovely looking but have a very orange light. I already broke one, and they aren't sold separately from the chandelier. haha I was pretty salty about it but now I'm on the hunt for not super white yet not super orange attractive looking light bulbs.
We wrote this post about light bulbs in the past. But we have also found great luck buying specialty bulbs at our local lighting store--even if the fixtures aren't necessarily my style.
Wow, what a great resource! I probably wouldn't have considered Etsy as a lighting source. Thank you!
