Idaho summers are short-lived, but I think it’s because mankind isn’t meant to experience so much bliss in great quantities. Our minds would explode. All that to say, when the weather here warms up, you gotta jump right to enjoying it because fall and winter are racing toward us and you never really know which one will show up first. So let’s do some s’mores!
I love all the combinations that people are doing with s’mores now. Obviously the classic will always be relevant, but today I wanted to share some of my favorite combinations I’ve been playing with so far this year. They’re super yummy.
Unusual S’mores Combinations
- Waffle cookie + Lindt orange dark chocolate + marshmallow
- Chocolate graham cracker + Lindt white chocolate + toasted coconut marshmallow
- Gluten-free thin cookie + Ghiradelli dark chocolate mint + marshmallow
- Ginger cookie + lemon coconut thin + Ghiradelli sea salt soiree + marshmallow
- Graham cracker + Reese’s cup + marshmallow
- Strawberry waffle cookie + Hershey’s milk chocolate + marshmallow
- Fudge-striped cookies + toasted coconut marshmallow
I know there are some purists out there that will scream, “That’s not a s’more!” Boo, says I. If the original were always best, we’d all be driving around 3-wheeled Patent Motor Cars. So stock up on a variety of cookies, crackers, marshmallows and chocolates. Find your favorite combo, and I’d love to hear about it!

I can’t wait to try these! We have tired smores with Keebler’s Coconut Dream cookies instead of Graham Crackers. So good!
