We had an okay weekend over here. Greta was under the weather on Friday. Then I was feeling crummy on Saturday and Sunday and poof, there goes the weekend.
But it is a new day and a new week and we gots stuff to do! This week, the name of the game is finish the living room. (Yesssssss.) And we're close, friends. Really close. First up on the list is to get the gallery up over the couch. This morning after laying huge frames all over the floor while Greta and her neighbor friend nearly stepped on them twelve times and gave me a heart attack--I got smart. I just traced my frames with paper so I could easily visualize them on the wall and since they are held up with painters tape, moving them around is a cinch. I do love a good puzzle.
After I get the arrangement just right, our to-do list will look like this:
Paint Room
Find a New Rug
Get His Chair
Get Her Chair
Look for a bench for plants by the window
Scout out a coffee table
Install Fauxdenza
Trim Fauxdenza
Style Fauxdenza and fill wall above it
Hang Gallery Frames above couch
Fill empty frames with art
Get a new couch cover
Find some new pillows with navy accents
Clean up!
We heard our new couch cover is arriving some time this week, but the rest is up to me to get done. Starting with filling those frames. Go! Go! Go!
I love the Colonel Mustard type piece of artwork! :)
Ok - so stoked to see the slip cover. AND to see the pillows you choose! :)
So excited to see everything coming together!! And I hope you and little miss Greta are feeling better!
I like where you're heading with the gallery wall! Can't wait to see the frames filled!
Awesome idea with the frames. I need to work a gallery wall in our place I think!!!
