Oversized Giveaway.

May 12, 2011
Giveaway is now closed.  Thanks for all those who entered.  And congrats to Meagan for winning.  See you all next time for another fabulous giveaway....we promise.

It's time to share the love.  April was a really big month for us (read: we moved into our first house and it has been a whirlwind ever since!) and we didn't do a giveaway.  This is us making it up to you--ten fold.  Remember when our swooning over oversized letters turned into us figuring out how to make those $98/piece Anthropologie beauts?  We have had so many (no joke--thousands) of views for that one little post, that we couldn't keep them to ourselves anymore.

We're making two more and giving a pair to one lucky person.   The Anthro letters are 25" tall, our letters are 25" tall and YOUR letters will be--25" tall, so don't expect to sit them gingerly on your kitchen windowsill--unless you have HUGE windows.

(for scale purposes)

We have ours propped up on a shelf above our bed along with some leaning canvases.  These bad boys would also look awesome hanging in a gallery wall arrangement, in a nursery sporting your child's initial, on top of your kitchen cabinets--if you have a lot of room up there, on a bookshelf, propped on your entryway console.  Not to sound so Seuss-y, but I like these letters everywhere.  And if a "C" and "J" don't suit your fancy (I'm thinkin' I'm talking to the majority here), no worries, you get to choose whatever two letters of the alphabet you want.

  • To enter: Leave a comment on this post about which two letters you want us to make for you and what they stand for.  Feel free to make that last part up and funny--we're not creepy and don't really need to know what your name(s) are, plus, we love a good laugh.  For instance, you might think our letter stand for Chris and Julia, but they really stand for Cracker Jack--our favorite treat (not really), if only for the prize.  Don't forget to leave an email address so we can contact you if you win.
  • Giveaway closes: Thursday, May 19th at 9 pm MST
  • The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Friday, the 20th. Good luck!
Only one entry per person. Prize only ships to 48 contiguous states. (We still love you Alaska and Hawaii).

  12. hmnnn decisions, decisions. I could get L and M to stand for the husband and I which could also stand for Love Me, or if he ticks me off my Initials are LMM so it could just stand for moi! Or....I could get H and W. Since we got married over 10 years ago we sign all cards to each, notes etc...husband and or wife, just a thing we do. That might be pretty cute!

    erinpautler at gmail dot com

    Kimbahleigh666(at)gmail(dot)com

  15. I'd get an "S" and an "L" for my and my husband's names. (Yes, boring, but with only two letters I couldn't do a *S*aturday *N*ight *L*ive explanation.)

  22. Blogger has made me really mad for the last few days. Kay, so, what I said before was that I have been coveting these letters since you first posted about them! They would be perfection in my bedroom - violet walls, white comforter with charcoal and violet squiggles, dark Ikea furniture - oh baby. It would be perfect. We would need a B and a K, for Burger King. :)

I would want a G and S for our bedroom...

    [email protected]

    ps love your blog!

  24. YAY!!!! Glad to see I am #2 now because how often are #1's picked for giveaways...like NEVER.

So, I would want 2 B's. One for our living room because over sized letters are HARD to find. And one in Brinley's room.

  25. Sorry to see that the other comments got lost as Blogger went down. :( I didn't see the original post, but I'm glad I found it now...looks like fun.

Letters "M" and "J" because Michael Jackson is my favorite singer and Michael Jordan is my favorite athlete. (Not really...Matthew James...Matthew because we're all "M"s in the family, and James after my grandfather and great-grandfather).

    Cheers,
    Matt
