Modern Cottage Wallpaper We Love

So far, we have hung wallpaper in 2 rooms in our home (the playroom and Greta's room) and there was already wallpaper hung in the powder room when we moved in. But over the next couple weeks, we'll also be installing wallpaper in the girls' office and our bathroom's water closet with plans to add more to future spaces! There's something so charming and cottage-esque about wallpaper, so we thought today it would be fun to share a bunch of our current favorites!

I hear from a lot of people that have had bad experiences with wallpaper, but it usually stems from the removal of it and maybe that has turned them off for good. But there's no doubt that wallpaper is making a major comeback! It adds so much layer and interest to a room. Here are a few that I have saved for this house!

1. Stripes and Plaid Wallpaper: I really like to pair these age-old, traditional, classic patterns next to rooms that might have a more organic or botanical paper. Like in the playroom hallway we did stripes that lead into Greta's floral wallpapered room. It layers so well!

3. Organic Wallpaper: We grouped these together because they all feel organic in nature. Birds, trees, animals or free-flowing lines. #5 is going in the girls bathroom and #12 is headed into our bathroom!
