So far, we have hung wallpaper in 2 rooms in our home (the playroom and Greta's room) and there was already wallpaper hung in the powder room when we moved in. But over the next couple weeks, we'll also be installing wallpaper in the girls' office and our bathroom's water closet with plans to add more to future spaces! There's something so charming and cottage-esque about wallpaper, so we thought today it would be fun to share a bunch of our current favorites!

I miss the floral wallpaper from our last bathroom! You can see more of our last bathroom here!
I would use this wallpaper again in a heartbeat--except would go for the black and white one this time. You can see more of Polly's nursery in our last home here!

The first wall we papered in our last house--and I still love it! You can see more of our last entry here!
I hear from a lot of people that have had bad experiences with wallpaper, but it usually stems from the removal of it and maybe that has turned them off for good. But there's no doubt that wallpaper is making a major comeback! It adds so much layer and interest to a room. Here are a few that I have saved for this house!
1. Pinstripe Copper On Ebony
2. Ascot Stripe Jet
3. Waverly Highwire Stripe
4. Ashford House Harris Plaid
5. Avery Double Stripe
6. Plaid Dove/Mocha
7. Acadia Stripe
8. Monroe Street
9. Stripes Away
10. Wood Bark
11. Semira
12. Bermuda Hemp Ecru
2. Floral Wallpaper: Nature is kind of the back bone to a cottage aesthetic so I'm leaning heavily into these florals. Keep them fresh by going monochromatic with woodwork or textiles.
1. Meadowfield
2. Scrimshaw Floral Twine
3. Smoky Rose
4. Floral Mist
5. Enchanted
6. Snakeshead Morris & Co
7. Petite Fleur
8. House of Hackney Opia
9. Poppy
10. Lemieux et Cie Pernelle
11. Kauai Botanical
12. Camille Floral
3. Organic Wallpaper: We grouped these together because they all feel organic in nature. Birds, trees, animals or free-flowing lines. #5 is going in the girls bathroom and #12 is headed into our bathroom!
1. Tree Toile
2. Ashford House Seasons Toile
3. Sure Strip Exotic Plumes
4. Horses
5. Raphael
6. Sparrow
7. York Forest Lake
8. Woods
9. Scenic Tree Toile

If you're new with wallpaper, pick an accent wall in a bedroom to do! And I bet you'll want to do the whole room next time.
Julia, would you use wallpaper in a family room, or your prefer to keep it for bedrooms and bathrooms?
I think it could work beautifully in a family room
If you use traditional wallpaper, are you supposed to wait 3-6 for the primer to cure before you apply? I saw this recommended for peel and stick, but I can't figure out for traditional wallpaper. Currently skim coating my water closet in the master bath and want to do a bold wallpaper just trying to figure out my time frame.
Our wallpaper installer didn't mention a waiting time.
Such a sweet space! Can we get a link for the rug? Thanks!
I love your choices, & saw one that’s giving me ideas...
I’ve papered and removed so much wallpaper aper over the years. But I’m ready to repaper my hall bath with something dramatic. In my main bathroom renovation, I was really drawn to William Morris pimpernel paper, but I don’t have much untiled wall space & I didn’t want to detract from the vanity, mirrors & lights. So my solution is to order a large print of the wallpaper & will frame it for the wall you see as you enter.
Fingers crossed it works.
That sounds like such a great idea and fun way to still add wallpaper to a room!
Would you say wallpaper is durable and easy to clean? Would it hold up in a hallway were there are lots of things bumping and sticky hands running by? ... I have 5 boys... But I really love the look and would like to try it! Thank you for the beautiful sources!
Definitely depends on the wallpaper but yes!
Were you able to fix the paper in the playroom and keep it?
We are using the same paper in a traditional paste! Yay!
so glad - because it is the perfect paper!
