Surprise! We're addressing the biggest eye sore in our house… the home gym. It's a lot of burnt orange from the floor to ceiling, and we're going to give it a little love over the next couple weeks. The gym entrance is through the archway to the right, and across from the guest house entrance (on the left side). It's a little cave of a space at the base of the stairs leading up to the future rec room!
Chris and I have been going to a gym for YEARS. Getting out of the house really motivates me to move, but I like to workout at home after work and on the weekends. We've never had the space for a home gym and now that we have the space, it's nice to have it as an option! We have a rower and treadmill and squat machine, but we're anxious to add a few more pieces and give it a face lift so it doesn't feel like we're going into this dark, dingy space to exercise.
