A lot of showers these days are moving to glass enclosures, which I understand as we’ve done it too in our home. But we have one room that still needs a curtain. It’s the shower/bath in the girls’ bathroom it’s so sweet to infuse life into that room with a curtain. Not only do they add privacy, they can add some style and infuse your personality in a room. Shower curtains also add a lot of softness to what is usually a very hard-surfaced area. It’s nice to bring in that femininity.

In case you’re looking for a refresh, I rounded up a bunch of our favorite shower curtains below. While I’ve gone classic white before in our previous home pictured above, I ordered the Pottery Barn one for our home now as I’m just loving that traditional blue & white combination!

  1. Hi. I love the shower curtain you used in your girls bathroom. Even though it’s sold out, can you share where you purchased it from in case it restocks? Thanks. Appreciate you sharing all the different options.

  2. I love the shower curtain in your post. Also the gray and white tiles. Where can I get the shower curtain?

  3. There are so many cute shower curtains out there, but not many that are long enough for me! I like to raise my shower curtain just a few inches below my 8 ft ceilings, so need something longer. I’d love your team to search up some longer shower curtains!

  4. I find that traditional shower curtains are not long enough. I have 9′ ceilings and have been struggling to find one that is closer to 96″ rather than the standard 72″. I have bought 2 and sewn them together to get the length but that was with a striped curtain and I could hide the seam. I want to switch it up, but there really aren’t a lot of options. Maybe a round-up of longer curtains?

    • I have the same problem. I solved it by having TWO shower curtains on the rings … the waterproof curtain (shorter) hangs on the inside of the tub, and for the outer (pretty) curtain, I purchased 3 curtain panels (NOT shower curtains). It actually makes the bathroom look more like a spa to have a nice drapery panel instead of a shower curtain. Just a thought.

    • I agree with Liz. I have to make my own shower curtain because I like to hang them floor-to-ceiling. It makes the room feel taller. Similar to hanging your drapes high & wide.
So a roundup of longer shower curtains would be nice.
