When everything outside is still brown, I love to switch over to spring stems indoors. The best part is that spring stems will last until September, when I switch over to fall stems!
I always have some classic green hydrangeas in a vase this time of year. Right now, they’re in an oversized vase in our entry, which is so welcoming when we first walk in. Also, branchy stems with a few white flowers can be texturally captivating—they really wow on our dining room table! It’s nice to put some small bouquets throughout the bedrooms too—it makes each space feel more special and rejuvenating.
If you’re craving more signs of spring, I’ve added a bunch of new finds to the CLJ Shop, including home decor, apparel, scents, and seasonal Frame TV art. After purging my closet this week, I’m ready to freshen things up!

These are beautiful! How do you decide how many stems to purchase to give that full look?
It depends on the size of the vase…I’ve done a dark wisteria arrangement that needed 8 stems, while a white hydrangea arrangement needed 2-3 stems. I’ve had one really branchy, tall stem that only needed one to fill a vase!
