I love fall faux stems. It's funny how it feels a lot more acceptable for stems to be faux in the fall! I guess in the summer you can grow your flowers and cut things from the yard or buy some at the market. In the fall — at least in North Carolina — we’re not going to have access to the range of flowers we would have during summer. What am I looking for this season? Well, I think fall stems are one of those things that look better a little sparse. You can get away with even one beautiful branch in a vase, and it’s gonna look impactful. I’ve always loved a dark vase too — I think it adds so much to the colors in our house.

I think a plum colored branch like this one is a beautiful addition to any space or an arrangement of faux dried stems. One of the new additions I bought this year is this turning maple branch which is gorgeous and so substantial, and you can't beat the price on this faux quince stem from Target. Check out the other ones I'm eyeing (or have already bought) to herald the fall season!
