Fall is my favorite food season. I love the warm spices, apples, sweet potatoes, squash — there are so many wonderful flavors and textures to work with. To herald September, I put together this crisp Harvest Punch that looks like fall in a glass. It is the perfect beverage to serve at your next dinner party or gathering — I always make two pitchers so there’s enough for either side of the table. It comes together fast, it’s fresh, and it’s just a fun drink for non-drinkers like us.

Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider | Martinelli’s Apple Cider | Lakewood Pomegranate Juice | Topo Chico Mineral Water | Glass Pinch Bowl
The only cooking we’ll do is to make a simple syrup infused with fresh rosemary, a cinnamon stick, and fresh orange peel. From there, each pitcher gets the juice of half an orange, a lot of ice, Martinelli’s sparkling and non-sparkling ciders, and sparkling mineral water. Top it off with some pomegranate juice, and stir with a long-handled spoon. Garnish with some fresh rosemary sprigs and slices of orange (Cara Cara oranges are especially nice with their rose hue). And that’s it!

Glass Pitcher | Highball Glass | Dish Towel
I just love the color and flavors in this Harvest Punch and it comes together in less than 10 minutes. It’s apple-forward with warm herbs and spices and tartness from the pomegranate. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments!
