Every so often, a flavor combination comes along that makes you do a double-take. You might tilt your head and squint at the ingredients list, wondering if these three actually belong in the same blender.
The answer is a resounding yes. This smoothie is refreshing, surprisingly creamy, and packed with nutrients that will actually keep you full until lunch.

Why You’ll Love This Blend
- The Creaminess Factor: Avocado provides a buttery texture and healthy fats without the need for dairy or heavy yogurts.
- Tropical Brightness: Mango adds a natural sweetness that tames the grapefruit’s signature zing.
- Anti-Inflammatory Boost: High in Vitamin C and antioxidants to kickstart your immune system.
A few great things about this smoothie – it’s dairy free, grain and gluten free (doesn’t use oat milk), vegan, and easily made nut-free, paleo or Whole30 depending on the liquid and sweetener you use. If you’re on any medications, double-check to make sure they don’t react with grapefruit juice before drinking this smoothie. Otherwise, I think you’ll really love it.

Mango, Avocado & Grapefruit Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 1 cup frozen banana
- 1 large avocado peeled, pitted
- 3-4 fresh mint leaves
- 20-ish drops liquid vanilla stevia sweetener
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- 1 cup grapefruit juice unsweetened
- 1-2 cups coconut water depending on desired consistency
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. If the bitterness of grapefruit isn't your thing, you can add more sweetener or swap for fresh orange juice and reduce or leave out the sweetener.

I’ve made this 1-2x a week since you posted it! It. Is. So. Delicious. I leave out the sweetener and add spinach. Obsessed!!
This is truly inspired. Avocado and mango is the power couple I never knew I needed. Thanks, Chris! ????
Looks go delicious! Always looking for new smoothie ideas-thanks!
I love this Smoothie. Its look sweet and I will try to prepare it when I get all the ingredients! Thank you for sharing!
I got so excited to finally find a good smoothie recipe without banana… then looked through the recipe and… womp womp ???????? Chris tricked me.
Take out the banana! Just add some extra mango – the banana mainly helps with texture but all mango will be just great.
