Really Good Persian and Oriental-Inspired Rugs that AREN'T One-of-A-Kind

June 23, 2016

Oriental and Persian rugs are big right now, but the truth is, they'll always be in. They've been around for several hundreds of years and they'll be around that many more. They work across all styles--modern, traditional, farmhouse, bohemian, industrial--and add a great deal of interest, pattern, warmth and charm to a room. We have a few in our home from eBay, Etsy, eSaleRugs, and The Vintage Rug Shop in our home that I love to pieces, but it's always a little disheartening to tell our readers, "Sorry! It's a one-of-a kind" when they ask where they can get the same eye-candy under foot.

I know that if you hunt long enough and search high and low with a little bit of patience, you will be able to find one in your price range and size you need (Persian rugs generally come in very unstandard sizes). But, prepared to spend more for the real thing.

Really Good Persian and Oriental-Inspired Rugs that AREN'T One-of-A-Kind | Chris Loves Julia

However! For today's post, I thought it would be fun to round up a few of my favorite Persian and Oriental-inspired rugs that aren't one of a kind. And don't cost an arm and a leg. And come in all the sizes you're accustom to seeing. And they'll add the same dose of character to your space that you've been aching for.

Click on any rug for more information, or hover to see the price!

Many, if not all, of these options are available in multiple sizes and I would put any one in our home. Hope this makes the "vintage" rug hunt a little easier for some of you!

  1. I ordered TWO of the rugs on this list from overstock this week and I can't wait to get them in! They were really affordable! Thank you so much for this wonderful post.

  2. such a good post!!! thank you! i have the blue nuLoom one from overstock, except i got it from RugsUSA (it can be cheaper there because they run such great sales!)

  3. I have the very top right one (white and blue) and LOOOOOVE it. It looks so much better in our 1911 home than the geometric one I had before.
