Last weekend, we went a couple hours south to the small town of Fish Haven, Idaho right on Bear Lake and spent some time connecting as a family. The Airbnb we rented had access to a private beach and it was peaceful and wonderful to be able to feel like we’re on a vacation for the first time this year. The water is shallow and warm and turquoise. Bear Lake is known as the Caribbean of the Rockies and honestly, yes! I can see why. We mostly swam and played games, but on the way home, we stopped in an antique store where I fell for a very old bench.

It was one of those pieces that I could instantly see in multiple spaces in our home so I knew it was coming home with me, but once I scooted in the entry, it was meant to be there. I hung a piece of art above it, asymmetrically, and unrolled a new rug (that was meant for the guest room but when the stars align–I mean, you can’t fight it!) and our entry got a whole new life.

Other fun things this week!
• WE HAVE CLJ GIFS!!!! Ahhh!!!! We’re new at this and it was quite the process, but now that we’re approved we already have a green screen planned! Search “clj” on Instagram stories to access them. More coming!
• Yes, that was us you saw in the Land’s End Early Fall catalog! What a trip! At the beginning of summer, they approached us about modeling for their Fall catalog. We have zero modeling experience, but it was still so fun! I’ve yet to get my physical copy in the mail but after so many DMs about it, I found the e-catalog here! (Off to add cover girl to my resume, I guess.)
• If you squint, Kendall Jenner’s living room kind of looks like ours.
• Run!! There’s 50% off all Abercrombie Jeans! I have these in almost every wash and these are in my cart.
• I can’t believe it’s been a year.
• My sister, Victoria’s, art is in the Anthropologie fall collection!!! It’s been two years in the making and I’m so proud of her. See the 4 pieces here (you might recognize one ;)

I know it was from an old courthouse. The owner of the shop had the matching pair in her house for the last 40 years!!! It’s old but I need to do some more digging.
As a antique/vintage store lover I’ve got to know the name of that place! What a beautiful find!! We’re going down to bear lake for the first time in two weeks (even though we’ve lived in eastern idaho for over a decade), I’m so excited—Andrea’s photos are upping the anticipation for sure. ????
