Halloween is just around the corner, so I figured it was finally time to get my front porch ready for trick-or-treaters. I was already off to a pretty good start with the faux pumpkins, but I added a bit more to top it off. Going all-out with front porch decor isn't typically my thing, although I can appreciate those who do. Instead, I like to keep it pretty simple by adding just a few elements. Here's where I ended up at.
Wreath | Standing Ghosts | Faux Pumpkins | Lanterns | Doormat
As someone who prefers the longevity and convenience of faux pumpkins, I may have sprinkled in a few real ones, but I dare you to spot them in the lineup ;). I love that faux pumpkins can be reused year after year, which is a win-win for both sustainability and convenience.
I ordered these friendly little ghosts for my front porch months ago, and they finally arrived! They're the perfect spooky element, and I love how they light up at night! The other spooky touch to the ensemble is the bat-covered wreath, which is honestly a little hard to spot against the black door, but I still love it.
Historically, I'm not much for mums, but this year, I've hopped on the train, and I'm happy to report that I think they look so charming with the entire setup. Am I a mum girl now?
We've since carved some jack-o-lanterns, but I also put out these lanterns to help light the way.
Lastly, I put out a "Happy Halloween" doormat, and it's as simple as that.
Would you say you like to keep your Halloween porch decor pretty simple or embrace the season and go all-out?
