Silver has been sneaking its way back into the spotlight for a while now, but if you’ve been living in a gold-and-brass world it can feel a little tricky to know how to bring it in. My biggest tip? The finish matters. Polished silver — not brushed, not matte — is what feels fresh right now.

That high-shine look instantly elevates a room. It bounces light around, adds dimension, and just feels luxurious. It’s part of what I’m calling Polished Heritage style — a mix of timeless and modern that gives off that collected, “old money” vibe without feeling stuffy.
And don’t worry, this doesn’t mean tossing out all your brass or gold accents (I’m definitely keeping mine as you can see in the photos!). It’s more about layering silver into the mix. Start small: a frame here, a lamp there, or maybe swapping hardware or a sconce. It doesn’t take much to notice the shift.
One of the ways I’m incorporating this trend is with these beaded silver vases (I got one in each size) I found at Wayfair. I tend to go for oversized ceramic vases but these just feel so fresh and could literally go anywhere. They’d look so sweet on a nightstand or tucked into our living room built-ins. Or I’d love to see a bunch of the smaller ones lining a holiday table.
Wayfair is my go-to for seasonal decor — as well as home finds that feel evergreen. My home’s decor staples. For now, I can’t stop moving these little silver vases to different rooms in our house. Here’s one looking handsome in the study:

And here’s one gleaming in the bonus room:

I rounded up so many polished silver finds from Wayfair, and I love how versatile they are — easy to style, timeless, and right on trend.
I love your entrance dresser chest with marble top. Would you share the source?
The silver cups are very Ralph Lauren, they look great.
