Lavender mocktail "The Bennet Blossom"

As I was gushing over the Pride & Prejudice resurgence in the theaters, I couldn’t help but crave a mocktail that would put me straight in the gardens of Pemberly. Lucky for me, Chris obliged and came up with a lavender fizz drink that is just so elegant and refined. (No wonder he’s my Mr. Darcy.)

Enter “The Bennet Blossom.” It’s not fussy, it’s not overly sweet, but it’s got this beautiful, almost ethereal quality that just feels right. Think strolling through a perfectly imperfect English garden, a hint of floral scents in the air, a little sparkle in your step. That’s what we’re going for here.

This isn’t about complicated mixology; it’s about layering simple, beautiful flavors to create something that feels intentional and just a little bit special. It’s the kind of drink you can imagine Elizabeth Bennet enjoying after a brisk walk or the Bennet sisters sharing during a quiet moment.

Why This Just Feels Like Pride & Prejudice:

  • The Lavender: It’s that quintessential English garden scent. It just transports you.
  • The Pear Juice: It’s light, it’s fresh, it’s not trying too hard. Just good, simple flavor.
  • The Sparkling Water: It’s that little bit of effervescence that reminds you of witty conversation and a bit of playful energy.
  • The Rose Water: It’s the unexpected elegance, the little touch of something truly special that elevates the whole thing.

This Bennet Blossom is all about creating a little moment of beauty and calm in your day. It’s a nod to the past, but it feels totally right for now. So, go ahead, mix one up, find your favorite reading nook (or your porch chair!), and let yourself get lost in the romance and charm of it all.

  1. This is lovely! My husband said it tasted like the scent of a floral perfume. I poured them in fancy glasses and garnished with lavender. Will definitely make this often! Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel of all time. Cheers!
