We have two Frame TVs in our home, and their art mode is so high-quality that we wrote a whole review on them. When a TV is in a main living areas (like our bonus room), I want it to look like decor when it’s not in use. The Frame TV is unparalleled with the matte, picture-like quality it can achieve. I have the Amazon Echo device in so many rooms of the house. There’s one in our kitchen so I can get the weather and check my daily calendar. Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro $249 $179
These earbuds are the ones that Chris got me to try after years of staying loyal to my Apple AirPods. What can I say except I’ve converted to Samsung now! The sound quality is incredible, whether I’m listening to an audiobook on a walk or on a call. The battery life is an hour longer (which does make a difference). Also, my Apple Airpods kept connecting to the girls’ Apple devices on trips. It was frustrating to have to keep changing the output. They’ve held up great so far. You have to give them a try if you’re in the market for new ones!
JBL PartyBox Speaker $599 $449
We’ve been JBL fans for years (they even won our portable speaker test!), and since we host so often, we recently upgraded to the PartyBox. We realized—mid–birthday party for my mom—that we needed a bigger speaker, and wow, this one delivers. The sound fills the whole house (or the backyard!) and it’s easy to roll from room to room. Plus, it’s microphone-compatible, which makes it perfect for parties, announcements, or an impromptu karaoke night.
