There’s just something so timeless about this classic Americana look. It’s very similar to Moody Modern Traditional—my own personal design style. I love the equestrian touches in this aesthetic (we just hung our favorite horse art in Greta’s room). And layers upon layers of plaids, stripes, tartans…it’s prep school meets polo player with a dash of rustic elegance.
A leather chair is a great starting point to make this style your own, but don’t forget to add in other textures like flannel, tweed, or cotton. And don’t get me started on the color palette of the Ralph Lauren aesthetic. Deep greens, navy blues, chocolate browns, burgundy reds – I’ve got whole rooms dedicated to these colors in my house!
