We are taking this week to spend time with our families from all over the world (okay, Mexico, Pittsburgh and Utah) that are in town for Christmas! With all 4 of my sisters here, there will surely be too many pictures posted to Instagram, so you can catch us there if you're interested. But before signing off for the holiday, I wanted to share with you our family Christmas card, that almost wasn't. We were going to do another illustrated card like the last 2 years (2013 and 2012), but in the eleventh hour, things didn't work out. So, last week, I dressed Greta and Faye in their matching (dreams come true!!) dresses I ordered last month, strung some garland from the shelves in the reading room and danced around singing Dominic the Donkey to induce a few smiles. It worked! Behold, our card:
Since the impromptu photo session was so last minute, I used Postable to upload the photo to a card and had them send it directly to our friends and family. What an amazing service! And it didn't seem any more expensive then what we usually spend on cards. We generally don't share many photos of the girls here on the blog, but here are some of the photos that didn't make the card, but are still so sweet.
While it was hard to pick one, we felt this one summed up the joy we feel this year. Ohh, these two.
Thank you all for being a part of our family's life. We wish you a Merry EVERYTHING.
What a sweet card! Your girls are adorable:) Hope you had an awesome Christmas and wishing you all the best in the new year.
Cheers,
Victoria
They'are so cute and the cards so sweet. Love these 2 girls
Greta is turning into such a little lady! I just tried taking holiday photos of my little ones again today. It's so much more difficult trying to photograph two kids opposed to just one! Happy Holidays, Marcums!
Love it! Merry Christmas!
Beautiful cards!
Merry Christmas to you also! I hope you enjoy your time with your family :)
This is such a great picture of your daughters! Have a great holiday.
Perfect!
Your girls are lovely.
Thanks for this past year of blogging. I've enjoyed coming along for the ride.
Merry Christmas!
