It has been the most amazing, busy, exhausting week. We’ve had non-stop showings of our home every day which means I wake up at the crack of dawn every morning and reset the house to show worthy. (I have a post coming next week that goes into more detail on what that entails!). We made amazing progress in the Fullmer kitchen (and they had their baby girl)!, we helped my parents officially move into their new home (it’s 8 minutes from our new house–we clocked it!), and, pinch me, Studio McGee came to our house to shoot their new outdoor collection on our deck before we move. It was a dream day and the perfect send off of this home. Every piece was so perfect, but I especially fell in love with this McGee & Co outdoor rug and this large, gray rattan planter.  I’ll share pics next week!
More fun things this week!
• Hair clips are trending and I’m here for it! I’m easing into the look with these tortoise clips–(no one is surprised, right!?) they’re so good and never slip!
• Yellow Brick Home put together the most fun VLOG of our recent trip to Chicago with them and Young House Love. Kim is also sharing a list of all the places we went here.
• Rejuvenation is having a big rug sale (up to 50% off!) and having 3 rugs in our home from them, we cannot express how wonderful the quality is. I linked the best deals below!
• This bathroom by Katie Martinez Design was designed to feel more like a room, than a bathroom and it’s just so inspiring!

• Beware of destination addiction.
• We’re excited to share more about our new house once we close in a couple weeks, but here’s a hint on the style we’ll be channeling!
• This yellow striped swimsuit is SO cute and under $30! I love this high neck one, too!

Im exhausted just reading this! Those aren’t little tasks either. I love watching everything you guys do and am excited to see more into your new home.
YOU BOUGHT A TUDOR??!!!
* sits back and lives vicariously through you *
I AM DYING TO SEE THE NEW HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg. your current house is such an inspiration for me, but we have a historic farmhouse that dictates a lot of my choices, so i have to pick and choose – like using things that have clean lines, bold+neutral colors, and black peppered throughout…if you guys do any type of historic house i might just explode.
Hi I’m new to Instagram and YouTube, I know really???????? but been busy with life anyway out of curiosity why are you guys leaving?? Your house is beautiful and I love your amazing design ideas and recently what you have done with your friends kitchen…????
Well how about that! We’ve been working on a Tudor Revival, built in 1908, for the past three years. Is the new home historic? Love to see how you interpret the spaces.
It’s not historic, but we’re excited to infuse it with some character for sure.
