In February I took down super old wallpaper in the master that was on the top 2/3 of the walls and painted the top 2/3 light grey and the bottom 1/3 a deep tone! I envision board and Barton but the line is about 1-2 feet lower that what you’ve done here due to the fact that the wall was smooth where the paper was and textured where it wasn’t... would this look odd if the boards were much lower? Love thatbwjat you did was what I envisioned!! Just need to finish the work! Thanks.
The salt & vinegar chicken is a family favorite! Question about the paint storage. Is your garage heated at all? Wondering if you’ve ever had cold temps impact the quality of the paint after you’ve stored it over the winter.
So, this is going to sound SUPER weird, but I had a dream last night (or rather a stream-of-consciousness thought before drifting off to sleep) about painting our very dingy-looking 8 year old playset! And do you know whose playset I envisioned it looking like when finished?! YOURS! Weird, right?! Ours is cedar too, but faded from hours in the sun and years of hard playing. We have a green vinyl top, not a hard roof, and no bench underneath. We have a white house with black shutters and this playset sits in our side yard and is visible from the street. Will probably have to wait a bit for Spring to really happen in the Northeast, but... we want to get our short driveway paved this year and our playset sits next to it so I'm thinking all-around spruce up! Also, will be sharing the chicken recipe with my husband!

Every year when I pack up the decorations after Christmas, I collect all of the garlands together in one box, I get all the candlesticks together in another box, and all my nativity sets go into their own box. We label the boxes "garlands," "candles," "nativity sets,"...which seems great until you remember that you have […]
What do you make for Christmas dinner? Sometimes we'll do a prime rib or a roast turkey, but this year, I'm going all out with a Christmas ham that just looks festive. For this recipe, I made a cranberry-orange glaze with some warm winter spices that takes this ham to the next level. Oh and […]
Raise your hand if you panic when your phone's low battery notification turns on? (Just me??) There's nothing worse when I'm out on a fun holiday outing taking video memories of my family, and I see that red light. Or I'm traveling and stuck in the airport on a layover...it gives me anxiety! I've tried […]
I put out a call on Insta to see if anyone needed help with holiday hosting, and I had so many great replies. There were some questions that popped up multiple times too, so I compiled this Q&A to hopefully help you prep for a smooth and stress-free hosting season. It can feel intimidating to […]

Our garage is insulated and heated. A lot of garages in Idaho are for storage reasons.

Come on now, you need to be honest about what it's actually like to grow rosemary indoors lol.
Ah that chicken is so good! I think that's going on the menu for tonight
